I’ve been fortunate enough to play a lot of good public golf in the OINK area. While I’ll try and post most of my experiences on this site, there are a number of courses that are still waiting for me to play. I feel that until I have played all that there is to play, any ranking I would give would be a pure guess based on what I’ve seen through others’ reviews and photos.
Here are courses on my Indiana wish list that I have yet to play, in the order I most want to play them. If you see any on this list that I don’t have on my already played list, add a comment to let me know what I need to add.
Quail Crossing (need to play a Doak at some point)
Brickyard Crossing GC
Prairie View
Rock Hollow
Otter Creek (any 9)
Warren Course at Notre Dame (haven’t played a Coore & Crenshaw yet)
French Lick (Ross)
Purdue Golf Club (Dye)
Hulman Links
Harrison Hills
Mystic Hills
Plum Creek
Coyote Crossing
Heartland Crossing
Christmas Lake
Covered Bridge
Belterra
Maple Creek Golf and Country Club
Vincennes Elks
IU Golf Course
Country Oaks
Martinsville Country Club
Cambridge
Salt Creek
French Lick (Dye, though not likely to happen any time soon at the current rate)
Cool blog!
I would add Harrison Hills (Attica, IN).

Mark, You’re right about Harrison Hills. Not sure why that wasn’t on my list to begin with. It’s now added.
You might enjoy Martinsville CC. Hilly course with a lot of interesting holes.
Around Indy, you might like Plum Creek in Carmel…a Pete Dye design. Another somewhat unique one is Heartland Crossing in Camby…this was a Nick Price design….crazy bunkers.
Down south Fuzzy’s course in Sellersburg is pretty decent…Covered Bridge. He also did Timbergate in Edinburgh..its ok.
